General Questions

How much does a video cost?

Client education video subscription pricing can be found on the subscriptions page of our website. Pricing for our most popular custom video packages can be found on our custom videos page. When a project’s needs are a more unique, we’ll come up with a personalized quote to meet your specific needs.

I have multiple locations – can I get special pricing?

We offer special pricing for practices under the same ownership. For client education subscriptions, the first practice is full price and additional practices are 50% off (if all practices use the same video each month) or 25% off (if each practice selects a different video each month). Groups with more than 10 practices will receive custom pricing. Custom videos are also eligible for multi-location pricing, please request a custom quote.

What if I have no idea how to post my videos on social media or make updates to my practice’s website?

Good news – we include an implementation guide with every video! We go out of our way to ensure that your team knows all the best ways to utilize each video.

I need subtitles embedded in my videos. Is that available?

Sure thing! Every video is delivered with a .srt file for adding subtitles to Facebook, YouTube, etc. and our subscription videos come with a burned-in subtitles version for use in lobby TV loops.

Custom Videos

When will my custom videos be finished?

In most situations the video shoot at your practice will be scheduled within a month of subscribing and final delivery happens a month after that (with several checkpoints for approval).

Do you travel to my location?

We produce videos for practices all over the United States (international, if you ask real nice:), sending one of our Denver-based videographers to your location for the video shoot. We find that it’s worth the cost of travel to have a videographer at our quality level who’s familiar with shooting in a veterinary environment. Travel costs are billed separately, at cost (usually $700-1,000 for a one-day shoot).

What are your payment terms for custom videos?

Custom videos that aren’t included as part of a subscription require a 50% deposit before a shoot date is booked. The remaining 50% balance is due upon delivery of the final product.

Who owns custom videos?

When we send you a video, it’s your’s to use however you’d like (with a few limitations). You technically “own” the rights to the video after full payment has been received. Limitations include that you can’t modify it or resell it and you’ll need to check with us before using it for broadcast on television (sometimes the music we use prohibits this usage). Veteos retains ownership of raw footage and project files unless a separate license is obtained (for an additional fee).

Subscriptions

Can I continue to use my videos if I choose to end my subscription?

Yes! You own the videos received during your subscription and can continue to use them, even if you choose to end your subscription.

When do I get my first video?

We deliver videos on the third Monday of each month. You will receive the current month’s video if you subscribe and complete onboarding before the second Monday of the month. Otherwise, your first video will be delivered the following month.

What comes with each video?

With each video we include an implementation guide that walks you through best practices for using your video, including samples titles and description for Facebook/YouTube. We also include thumbnail images, subtitles file, and a version of the video with subtitles “burned-in” for use in lobby TV loops without audio.

Who owns the subscription videos?

When we send you a video, it’s your’s…forever…even if you cancel your subscription. But there are a couple limitations. You can’t modify it or resell it and you’ll need to check with us before using it for broadcast on television (sometimes the music we use prohibits this usage).

Do you offer a pre-payment discount?

Absolutely! Pay for 12-months upfront and we’re happy to provide you with special pricing – contact us for more information.

What happens at the end of a plan with a 12-month commitment?

Only subscriptions containing a custom video (shot on-site at your practice) require a 12-month commitment. At the end of the twelve months, your plan will automatically renew, with new footage shot at your practice and new custom video(s) . We’ll contact you during your final months of your 12-month commitment to review your needs for the following year.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Our basic subscription plan (subscription videos only) can be canceled at any time. Packages containing custom videos canceled within in the 12 month commitment will not renew after.

What if my practice logo changes or we rebrand with a new name?

No problem! We can add your new branding to all the videos in your personal catalog for a reasonable fee (about $25 per video).

Do you have feline-only or equine-only videos available?

We currently do not have the content to support feline-only or equine-only practices, but we are looking into expanding our library to accommodate these practices.
